Pope Francis last week told editors of the European cultural magazines of the Society of Jesus that, in his opinion, World War III had been declared, it was reported Tuesday by La Civilta Cattolica.

Perhaps Russia’s invasion of Ukraine “was provoked or not prevented,” the Argentine-born pontiff was also quoted as saying.

“A few years ago it occurred to me to say that we were living a Third World War in pieces. Now, for me, the Third World War has been declared. And this is an aspect that should make us reflect. What is happening to humanity that has had three world wars in a century?” Francis wondered.

“We have to move away from the normal pattern that Little Red Riding Hood was good and the wolf was bad. Something global is emerging, with very intertwined elements,” he added.

The Pope also said a head of state he had met before the start of the war had told him that someone was “barking at Russia’s doorstep,” someone who did not understand that “Russians are imperial and they don’t allow any foreign power to come near them.”

“That head of state knew how to read the signs of what was happening,” Francis explained.

For Francis, it is not wise to focus solely on “the brutality and ferocity with which this war is being waged by troops, usually mercenaries sent by the Russians, which is ”something monstrous,“ when the world does not see ”the drama that unfolds behind this war, which perhaps in some way was provoked or not prevented.“

The Catholic chief also condemned the fact that at some point the conflict seemed merely a question of ”testing and selling weapons,“ because ”basically this is what is at stake.“

Regarding criticism that he was somehow siding with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Francis said it was ”simplistic and wrong to say such a thing; but I am simply against reducing complexity to the distinction between good and evil, without thinking about the roots and interests, which are very complex.“

”What we have before our eyes is a situation of world war, of global interests, of arms sales and geopolitical appropriation, which is martyring a heroic people,“ the Pope said about Ukrainians.

”It is also true that the Russians thought it would all be over in a week. But they miscalculated. They encountered a courageous people, a people who are struggling to survive and who have a history of struggle,“ he added.

The Pope also underlined things were getting cold and that the world needed to focus beyond the concrete action of the moment, and see ”how we are going to support [the Ukrainian women] so that they do not fall into trafficking, so that they are not exploited, because the vultures are already circling“ around them.

The Pope also lamented that there were some Christians ”attached to money“ who end up ”getting bogged down“ in bad management of patrimony and goods and ”chained to an ephemeral and failed vision of life.“

Francis insisted that ”the problem is not money itself,“ but rather people ”dazzled by the idol of wealth.“ When ”the only law is that of the calculation of profits“ at the end of the day, then ”there is no longer any stop“ to move on to the ”logic of exploitation” of people, he added.

Scottish Hermits Excommunicated on Christmas Day

Deacon Nick Donnelly has reported that the Hermits of Westray received notification of their excommunication on Christmas Day. The three Scottish hermits were reportedly excommunicated for a post on their website entitled “The Declaration.” In the post, the hermits declare:

Never in history has there been such a Pope, who by his actions, words and teaching, has thrown the whole Church into confusion. There have been bad and immoral Popes like John XII, and Alexander VI, there have been mad Popes, like Urban VI, there have been severe and unbalanced reforming Popes like Paul IV, and there have been pleasure loving Popes like Leo X, but none of them have spread such alarm throughout the Catholic Church. Such days have never been seen since the days of the Arian heresy, and yet these days are far, far worse.

A terrible darkness has spread over the world and the Church. Modernism, Secularism, Humanism, and Scientism are eroding the ancient Truths of Faith; and aided by the poisonous ideology of Evolution, which is no science at all, have convinced many in the Church that Man is getting better all the time. Thus ignoring the fact that the last century has seen tyrants and wars which eclipse all others in recorded history, for aided by science the evils of war and tyranny have been magnified beyond all imagining, and that terrifying magnification is ever increasing, and evil is truly unrestrained.

Tragically the head of the Church on Earth, Pope Francis, by his utterances, his behaviour, his teaching and his actions, has shown himself to be indeed a great heretic. He has proclaimed that no-one goes to Hell, he has undermined the indissolubility of marriage, he has approved of couples living together, he has behaved in an ambiguous fashion towards homosexuals, and received warmly, not only homosexual couples, but a transgender person and his fiancé and pro-abortion advocates. Pope Francis has said that the death penalty is inadmissible, and finally, in outright contradiction to the First Commandment, has said that God has willed all religions, and that this must be taught throughout the Church in her seminaries, her universities, and her schools.

The hermits go on to lament the silence of the bishops, stating:

In all this, silence has enveloped the bishops. Unable or unwilling to confront the successor of Peter; either through human respect, fear of schism, or through the thought of being cast out of their dioceses by the Pope, they have been reduced to a state of helplessness. Integrity has collapsed, fortitude has given way to cowardice and the flock are left, not only to the wolves, but to ravening lions, and every other conceivable violent personification of heresy and untruth . The bishops have forgotten how to teach , are powerless to correct, and seem unable to prevent the cruel invasion of the LGBT propaganda machine into Catholic schools, and nowhere is this more evident than in Britain.

Some people who have commented on Donnelly’s post have said that Bishop Brian McGee had no choice but to excommunicate the hermits because their “declaration” stated they were withdrawing from the pope. Others have stated the support the hermits’ “declaration.”

The members of the hermitage include Father Stephen de Kerdrel, Sister Colette Roberts and Brother Damon Kelly who had been arrested in the past for his public criticisms of homosexuality and abortion.

Exorcists Call for Penance Over Pope’s Sacrilege

Exorcists call for day of reparation after Pachamama rituals

WASHINGTON, D.C., November 13, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – In a joint statement, four exorcists called on Catholics to join a day of reparation to drive out “any diabolic influence within the Church” that occurred as a result of the Pachamama ritual that Pope Francis attended at the Vatican at the onset of the Amazon Synod.

According to the National Catholic Register, where the statement first appeared, the exorcists requested anonymity. They said that Catholics are in the midst of “spiritual warfare” that is “happening with the Church itself” as evidenced by the events witnessed during the Amazon Synod.

The exorcists asked Catholics to make December 6 a day of reparation by praying the Rosary, offering prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and doing penance in the form of fasting, abstinence, or other mortifications.

Pachamama is an earth “goddess” worshipped by indigenous people of South America. At the onset of the Amazon Synod, Pope Francis hosted a “tree-planting” ritual on October 4 that featured clergy and indigenous Amazonian people dancing in a circle around Pachamama statues in the Vatican gardens. The participants also prostrated themselves before the idols. The Pope later accompanied the idols into the hall where bishops were gathering for the synod.

On October 21, 26-year-old Alexander Tschugguel, an Austrian Catholic, removed the idols from the Santa Maria in Traspontina parish church near the Vatican and threw them into the Tiber River. Pope Francis then apologized as “the bishop of Rome” to those offended by the removal of the statues. In his apology, he called the figures “Pachamama statues.” Some defenders of the October 4 ceremony had insisted the statues merely represented motherhood or fertility, or that they depicted the Blessed Virgin Mary and her cousin Elizabeth.

Vatican whistleblower Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò joined more than 100 other prominent Catholics, including priests, in signing a statement making it clear that pagan worship by Catholics is unacceptable and that Pope Francis should “repent publicly and unambiguously of these objectively grave sins.”

Titled Contra recentia sacrilegia, the document called on bishops to “offer fraternal correction to Pope Francis for these scandals.”

According to that statement: “The rendering of worship to anyone or anything other than the one true God, the Blessed Trinity, is a violation of the First Commandment. Absolutely all participation in any form of the veneration of idols is condemned by this Commandment and is an objectively grave sin, independently of the subjective culpability, that only God can judge.”

Other prominent churchmen who have been critical of the Pachamama rituals include: Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, Cardinal Raymond Burke, Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Cardinal Jorge Urosa Savino, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, Bishop Athanasius Schneider, Bishop José Luis Azcona Hermoso, Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer, and Bishop Marian Eleganti.

Catholics who were worried that the Amazon Synod would be used as a vehicle to try to change Church doctrine did not have those fears alleviated by the gathering’s final document, which called for the ordination of married men and “new paths for ecclesial ministry” for women.

In light of recent events regarding the Pachamama ritual in the Vatican Gardens, the subsequent procession of the idol into St. Peter’s, as well as placing the idols in St. Maria in Traspontina church, we are reminded of the words of St. Paul (1 Corinthians 10:20), “Do I say, that what is offered in sacrifice to idols, is anything? Or, that the idol is anything? But the things which the heathens sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God. And I would not that you should be made partakers with devils.”

The Psalms (95:5) tell us that “all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.” These events bring home the reality that (Ephesians 6:12) “our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.” These events bring home the reality that we are in spiritual warfare and that warfare is happening within the Church, itself.

We are, therefore, encouraging all Catholics who recognize the evil of the events to join us in a day of prayer and penance on December 6th, for the purpose of driving out any diabolic influence within the Church that has been gained as a result of these recent events — along with any other events.

We are asking all of those who participate to do the following for this intention:

1.) say the Rosary;

2.) take on some form of penance, such as fasting, abstinence and other forms of mortification;

3.) to offer the prayers to the Sacred Heart, as seen below.

Other recommended acts which we encourage others to do for this intention is make a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament and attend Mass that day, offering the merits of the Mass for this intention.

May the Divine Mercy rest upon all of us.

Act of Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Most sweet Jesus, Redeemer of the human race, look down upon us humbly prostrate before Thy altar. Turn Thine eyes of mercy toward the children of that race, once Thy chosen people: of old they called down upon themselves the Blood of the Savior; may it now descend upon them a laver of redemption and of life.

Grant, O Lord, to Thy Church assurance of freedom and immunity from harm; give peace and order to all nations, and make the earth resound from pole to pole with one cry: Praise to the Divine Heart that wrought our salvation; to It be glory and Honor forever. Amen.

Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O sweet Jesus, Whose overflowing charity for men is requited by so much forgetfulness, negligence and contempt, behold us prostrate before Thy altar eager to repair by a special act of homage the cruel indifference and injuries, to which Thy loving Heart is everywhere subject.

Mindful alas! that we ourselves have had a share in such great indignities, which we now deplore from the depths of our hearts, we humbly ask Thy pardon and declare our readiness to atone by voluntary expiation not only for our own personal offenses, but also for the sins of those, who, straying far from the path of salvation, refuse in their obstinate infidelity to follow Thee, their Shepherd and Leader, or, renouncing the vows of their baptism, have cast off the sweet yoke of Thy Law.

We are now resolved to expiate each and every deplorable outrage committed against Thee; we are determined to make amends for the manifold offenses against Christian modesty in unbecoming dress and behavior, for all the foul seductions laid to ensnare the feet of the innocent, for the frequent violations of Sundays and holidays, and the shocking blasphemies uttered against Thee and Thy Saints.

ROME (ChurchMilitant.com) – On the eve of the Amazon Synod, 10 Catholic lay leaders warned of the revolutionary designs against the Catholic faith, many of them rooted in the current pontificate.

Hosted by the international pro-life group Voice of the Family, the roundtable, titled “Our Church — Reformed or Deformed?” took place Oct. 4 at the Hotel Massimo D’Azeglio, and featured a number of Catholic luminaries, including John-Henry Westen of LifeSiteNews, author Dr. Taylor Marshall, Italian Vaticanistas Roberto de Mattei and Marco Tosatti, José Antonio Ureta of Tradition, Family and Property, and Church Militant’s Michael Voris, among others.

Roundtable Opening Statement
Pope Francis has brought such moral and political confusion to the world and the Church that he needs to recognize this — and resign.
The office of the papacy has as its specific aim a demonstration of unity in the Church – but not unity in the sense of a “majority rules,” but a unity, a union, a cohesion of the Ancient Faith demonstrated in modern times — whether those times are the ninth, 16th or 21st centuries.
This almost always, by necessity, means a conflict with worldliness, what theologians have often called “the spirit of the age,” and to which they add: Whoever marries himself to the spirit of the age finds himself a widower in the next.
Pope Francis — regardless of his intentions — seems to not recognize his fundamental duty as pope; the Church does not belong to him; as it does not belong to any pope, nation or political ideology or any age. The Church is ageless precisely because it is not married to any age.
Likewise, it expresses timeless truths, truths outside of time, not dependent on time or place.
But this pope has from the earliest days of his pontificate (the opening month, in fact) moved the Church to align itself with a counterfeit kind of theology inspired by godless atheism, and in the rush to advance this, he’s surrounded himself with numerous clerical scoundrels — some who have been complicit in the performing of or cover-up of sex abuse of minors or young adults, mostly male.
The doctrine of Liberation Theology, born in the bowels of the KGB and unleashed on South America in a Soviet attempt to destabilize Catholicism on that continent, is by necessity anti-Western.
Western civilization was constructed by the Catholic Church following the collapse of the Roman Empire in the West. This civilization was predominantly God-centered, not man-centered.
It recognized that what man today so freely tosses around as a universal concept of rights have no basis whatsoever if they are not rooted in God and His natural law.
The only “liberating” any authentic theology can accomplish is from an incorrect anthropology of man, an anthropology that enslaves him to purely modernist notions of equality being the same as justice.
Whether he realizes it or not, the Holy Father has entangled the Church in an anti-God philosophy, granting absolution to a political system that has as its primary end the overthrow of the Divine, of all that is sacred.
This system presents itself, for the necessary moment, as one rooted in a more complete understanding of God and man’s relationship to the world — and this system is wrong.
It is not a theological position. It is not a theological system. It is purely political, choosing for the time, to use a merely theological-sounding narrative as cover.
This system is known by various terms and as such is a kind of political chameleon — able to adapt in appearance to whatever registers most favorably in a given survey, or the latest poll.
Whether it goes by the name of Socialism, Globalism, Liberation Theology, Environmentalism or others, it is the same movement just viewed through a different prism. And at the core is an elevation of man or creation over God, pretending that God the Creator is desirous of this.
The pope is the pope of the Universal Church. He is not pope of the Globalist Church.
The Universal Church is one stretching through all time and eternity. The Globalist Church is one married to one time and political thought.
Furthermore, the very notion of speaking in terms of the Church as a pusher of globalist talk is repugnant to Catholic ears and sensibilities — as it is, or would be, if the Universal Church were spoken of in terms of a Capitalist Church or Socialist Church or Environmentalist Church.
The divinely constituted Church is larger than any man-made political system and therefore cannot be contained within any man-made, passing, temporary system or philosophy.
The Church owes obeisance to no earthly order, which indicates and presupposes that the temporary bishop of Rome, whoever he may be at a given time, likewise owes nothing to the world other than proclamation of Eternal Truth.
The United Nations does not supersede the Holy Catholic Church. Marxist-inspired Liberation Theology does not supersede the Holy Catholic Church. Rampant capitalism does not supersede the Holy Catholic Church.
A cooperative alliance among nations, which diminishes or even abolishes national sovereignty does not supersede the Holy Catholic Church. And likewise, and even more importantly, a cooperative approach to other religions, for whatever imagined good, does not supersede the only true religion.
This current pontificate has lost nearly all sight of its obligation to the world, which is to lead the highest of all God’s creation to the Creator, toward salvation.
The entire purpose of this so-called Amazon Synod is to complete the work of revolutionaries within the Church who began their undermining of the Church many decades ago.
Since Pope Francis, far from having attempted to prevent this evil, has actually contributed to it, sensible faithful Catholics, be they political conservatives or not, Americans or not — for those are all categories far more confining in scope than our shared love of the Ancient Faith — we assert that Pope Francis has forsaken his sacred duty and needs to step down.
This becomes more and more clear with each passing pronouncement, exhortation, consistory, ecclesiastical appointment, shuffling of the Curia and so forth.
Pope Francis and his clerical allies are creating a globalist organization with a Catholic-appearing face. What is emerging is not Catholic. The façade should be dropped and for once truth be allowed to prevail.
