In just the last few weeks, Liz Truss, Britain’s new prime minister, has been denounced by critics as a “fascist.” So has Giorgia Meloni, Italy’s newly elected prime minister. Along with all Republicans in Congress, Texas and Florida GOP Govs. Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis and, of course, former President Donald Trump. Every one of the tens of thousands of “MAGA Republicans” who attend Trump rallies, too.
Dangerous fascists, for that matter, all of whom critics say need to be shut up.
Truss is a fascist because she wants to cut taxes. Meloni is a fascist, and getting banned from several social media platforms, because she gave a rousing speech endorsing God, family and country. What a dangerous tyrant. Republicans in Congress are fascists because they support work for welfare and are trying to block the Green New Deal.
“What is so infuriating about these slurs is that the Left doesn’t even understand what a fascist is.” Hillary Clinton said after a recent Trump rally in Ohio, “I remember as a young student … I’d watch newsreels and I’d see this guy standing up there ranting and raving, and people shouting and raising their arms.” Trump’s defeated 2016 Democratic presidential rival was referring to Hitler.
“You saw the rally in Ohio the other night,” added Clinton, the former first lady, senator and secretary of state. “Trump is there ranting and raving for more than an hour, and you have these rows of young men with their arms raised.” She didn’t quite say it, but the implied message was clear: These crazy Trump supporters wanted to say, “Heil Hitler.”
At least President Joe Biden doesn’t call his political adversaries fascists. They are only “semifascists.” What a relief.
Aren’t these the same people who have urged raising the level of civil discourse? Wasn’t Biden supposed to “unify” the country with Trump out of the picture?
What is so infuriating about these slurs is that the Left doesn’t even understand what a fascist is. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, fascism is “a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government.” The Britannica Dictionary defines fascism as “a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government.”
Let all that sink in for a minute. Who are the fascists here? A government that “controls the lives of the people.” Let’s see — we have a group of politicians who shut down schools, businesses, restaurants and churches during COVID-19. A government that is now telling us what kind of light bulbs we can put in our homes, what temperature we can set our thermostat in our living rooms, what kind of car we can buy and what kind of drugs we need to be inserted into our arms.
Who is the leader who is vastly supersizing our centralized government? Biden and congressional Democrats have already spent $4 trillion expanding nearly all the power structures of government in Washington. If this isn’t fascistic, what is?
But here’s the rub. The definition of “fascism” has gradually been evolving over time. Nowadays, according to the Collins Dictionary, fascism “is a set of right-wing political beliefs that includes strong controls of society and the economy by the state” (emphasis added).
By this definition, leftists can’t be accused of being fascists because they want to use government for virtuous ends, while the Right wants to use government to further enrich the rich, spread racism and deny science.
What we have here is a clinical case of “projecting.” Democrats and other leftist parties around the world accuse the Right of wanting to expand government powers when that is precisely the overriding objective of the modern-day American Left.
It is prototypically fascistic. Elevate race and skin color into the public debate. Trample civil liberties. Squash those who disagree with the reigning government. Partner up Big Government with Big Business and micromanage the economy through dictates from the central planners. Put your political enemies in handcuffs and jail without a trial. Trample over the traditional guardrails that were installed to protect liberty — by changing voting rules, ending the 60-vote filibuster in the Senate and discrediting and trying to pack the Supreme Court. Declare everything, including COVID-19 and climate change, an existential threat to justify more power to the politicians.
So what is a fascist really? The Left says it is anyone who opposes what they want to do to expand government.
But the real definition of a fascist is a leader who wants to exploit governmental power to suppress the basic liberties of individuals. It is the partnership of government and private industry for political power and monetary gain. To find it in modern-day America, the folks at the (Biden) White House may want to look in the mirror.
The reaction of the persecuted church in Iran to Biden’s anti-conservative speech on the 1st September is cause for alarm. Persecuted Christians easily recognise the precursor to tyrannical oppression against godly, law abiding citizens. The US Democrats are doubling down against their opponents in an act of desperation, as a result of disastrous policy failure and a growing awareness by US citizens that all is not well, not realising that demonising the opposition leads to an increased risk of hypocrisy, injustice and inhumanity. Ideology, whether it is Islamic or atheistic, can be fundamentally dangerous to the lives of faithful Christians.
John 15:19–20 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they keep my word, they will also keep yours.
By Josh Boak, Zeke Miller, posted September 2, 2022 in National News.
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — President Joe Biden charged in a prime-time address that the “extreme ideology” of Donald Trump and his adherents “threatens the very foundation of our republic,” as he summoned Americans of all stripes to help counter what he sketched as dark forces within the Republican Party trying to subvert democracy.
In his speech Thursday night (Sept. 1) at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall, Biden unleashed the trappings of the presidency in an indictment of Trump and what he said has become the dominant strain of the opposition party. His broadside came barely two months before Americans head to the polls in bitterly contested midterm elections that Biden calls a crossroads for the nation.
“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal,” he said before an audience of hundreds, raising his voice over pro-Trump protesters outside the building where the nation’s founding was debated. He said he wasn’t condemning the 74 million people who voted for Trump in 2020 but added, “There’s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans,” using the acronym for Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan.
The explicit effort by Biden to marginalize Trump and his followers marks a sharp recent turn for the president, who preached his desire to bring about national unity in his inaugural address.
“President Biden’s speech to the nation last night was more inflammatory than healing,” said Daniel Darling, director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in an email to Baptist Press. “For a President who campaigned on unity and healing the country, he continues to govern in a way that is deeply polarizing. It was a campaign speech disguised as an official word from the commander-in-chief.”
Delivering a preemptive rebuttal from Scranton, Pennsylvania, where Biden was born, House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy said it is the Democratic president, not Republicans, trying to divide Americans.
“In the past two years, Joe Biden has launched an assault on the soul of America, on its people, on its laws, on its most sacred values,” McCarthy said. “He has launched an assault on our democracy. His policies have severely wounded America’s soul, diminished America’s spirit and betrayed America’s trust.”
Asked on Friday if he considered all Trump supporters a threat to the country, Biden said, “I don’t consider any Trump supporter a threat to the country.”
He added: “I do think anyone who calls for the use of violence, fails to condemn violence when it’s used, refuses to acknowledge when an election has been won, insists on changing the way in which the rules to count votes, that is a threat to democracy.”
He said that when people voted for Trump, “they weren’t voting for attacking the Capitol. They weren’t voting for overruling the election. They were voting for a philosophy he put forward.” Last week, he compared the “MAGA philosophy” to “semi-fascism.”
“Equality and democracy are under assault” in the U.S., Biden charged in the speech, casting Trump and his backers in the GOP as a menace to the nation’s system of government, its standing abroad and its citizens’ way of life.
Trump and his supporters “promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence,” he said. They “are determined to take this country backwards.”
“Backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love,” he said.
Red lights illuminated the brick of Independence Hall, as the Marine Band played “Hail to the Chief” and a pair of Marine sentries stood at parade rest in the backdrop. Still, the major broadcast television networks did not carry the address live.
“His use of the symbols of the American military, his attempt to portray half the country as irredeemable fascists, and the bizarre red backdrop did not convey a leader wishing to heal but divide,” Darling said. “It was especially appalling to see the pro-life movement–of which the President used to be a member–portrayed as enemies of democracy.
“What America needs in this moment is a president willing to help heal our deep divides, to resist the election-year urge to consider his ideological adversaries as enemies of the state, and to ratchet down the rhetoric coming from the White House. We are at a dangerous moment, where the incentives on all sides are toward demonization, where partisans seem increasingly eager to engage in political violence. Preserving democracy requires cool heads and warm hearts, not cheap campaign rhetoric.
“For Christians, this is a moment of opportunity, to both display courage in advocating for transcendent truths and civility in seeing even those who disagree with us as image-bearers of the Almighty. And should pray for leaders willing to do the same.”
Iowa GOP chair Jeff Kaufman said in a statement that Biden was using the tactics of an authoritarian regime, “trying to turn his political opponents into an enemy of the state.”
The new political correctness hasn’t the power to overwhelm our existing order. BY PETER FRANKLIN
Do you remember political correctness? For members of Generation X, born between 1965 and 1980, the PC boom of the Eighties and Nineties was part of growing up. Like today’s wokeness, it was all about policing language. For instance, instead of saying “disabled” we were meant to say “differently abled” or “physically challenged”.
The jargon didn’t stick. Indeed, it was widely mocked, with wags competing to contrive faux-PC terms like “circumferentially challenged” (meaning “fat”) and “metabolically different” (meaning “dead”).
Of course, during any reform of manners there are always those who take things too far — putting skirts around piano legs and the like. Fortunately, society as a whole is more sensible; we curb the excesses and move on to a kinder, gentler stage in our development.
This model of permanent-progress-with-temporary-excess is how some conservatives seek to contextualise the current moment. For instance, David Brooks of the New York Times argues that while the “thing we call wokeness” produces “fringe absurdities” it also has “at its core… an honest and good-faith effort to grapple with the legacies of racism.”
Furthermore, he has faith in the “American establishment’s ability to co-opt and water down every radical progressive ideology.” The rise of the woke corporation is not therefore a sign that wokeness is taking over, but rather proof that the process by which capitalism defangs the Left is once more in operation. We weren’t turned into hippies by Coca-Cola teaching the world to sing 50 years ago and we won’t be turned into wokelings by the posturing of corporate PR departments today.
Tyler Cowen makes a similar argument, referring to another song from 1971 — John Lennon’s Imagine. This was an immediate and enduring hit — the biggest of Lennon’s solo career. But despite us imagining the idea of “no possessions” for the last five decades, capitalism continues to sell them in ever greater quantity.
Thus Brooks and Cowen seem to have history on their side.
But there is a counter-argument, made by Rod Dreher who is a friend of Brooks, but horrified by his complacency. For a start, says Dreher, there is no good side to wokeness — it is a “naked attempt to exercise tribal politics, and to do so by (brilliantly) deploying moral language and victim status to disguise what it is being done.”
If that’s true, then wokery isn’t the latest in a long line of vehicles for social justice, but quite the opposite. It has hijacked the struggle against oppression to perpetrate a divisive and destructive ideology of its own. Thus nothing good can come from its growing influence. As Dreher puts it: “the core of our disagreement is over the effects of having a leadership class radicalized by wokeness. David thinks it’s not all bad, but it will fade in time. I think it is entirely bad, and that even if it fades — I’ve got my doubts — the damage it does in the process is going to be immense.”
A yet more disturbing scenario is presented by Ed West. He too doubts that wokeness will fade away. Indeed, he compares the current moment to one of the most important turning points in world history: “In The Final Pagan Generation Edward Watts recalled how the cohort growing up in the mid-4th century watched, helplessly, as their culture was overwhelmed by the tidal wave of Christianity. Bit by bit, decree by decree, their religious supremacy and then freedom was hacked away.”
In this analogy, wokeness is the new Christianity — a belief system that moved from the fringes into the mainstream and ultimately all the way up into the highest echelons of the establishment. As in the 4th Century, it is already too late to do anything about it. The reactionary spasms of the 21st century, like the Trump presidency, are as futile as the reign of the last pagan emperor of Rome — Julian the Apostate — who tried but failed to reassert the old order. Neither he nor Trump ever stood a chance.
How robust is this analogy? Let’s begin with the observation that by Julian’s time, traditional Roman religion bore little resemblance to its old self. All sorts of new belief systems has spread across the Empire. However, most of these were assimilated — often fused with traditional Roman gods.
One could say the same about the West today. Modernity has opened the way for all sorts of new influences on culture and politics at the expense of tradition. And yet, as Brooks and Cowen describe, the established order has nevertheless endured — by taming and co-opting the challenger ideologies.
Christianity, though, was the challenger ideology that would not and could not be assimilated. Just how far Christianity assimilated Rome is matter of debate, but the concept of “Christendom” grew from Rome’s ruins — defining Europe, the West and ultimately the modern world.
The question therefore is whether wokeness today is remotely comparable to the role Christianity played as Rome crumbled. Note that I’m not talking about how much wokeness owes as an ideology to the worldview that Christianity built — I’ll leave that debate to the likes of Tom Holland. Rather, I’m asking whether wokeness has the capacity to offer a unifying vision of such compelling power as to overwhelm and supersede the existing order.
And here the answer is clear: it does not.
First, wokeness is too geographically limited in scope. The impact that it’s made so far depends on conditions that apply specifically to the United States of America — especially in regard to that country’s history of slavery, segregation and ongoing racial discrimination. The global reach of social media helps to explain why the Black Lives Matter movement made waves far beyond America; but it does not change the very different context of race relations in other countries.
Even a country with as revolutionary a history as France has made it abundantly clear that American-style wokeness will not be taking root in French soil. Whether that’s expressed by the ruling establishment centred upon President Macron or a youth vote that’s shockingly skewed towards the far-Right, we English-speakers need to remember that we are not the world.
Second, unlike the Christianity which spread among ordinary people before converting the establishment, wokeness comes from the elites and continues to wield its greatest influence there. It is not a popular movement; it is remarkably unpopular, in fact.
Perhaps, like Protestantism during the Reformation, it doesn’t have to be. Given the control that the elites have over political, economic and cultural institutions, it may be that rest of the population just follows along behind: Cuius regio, eius religio (‘whose realm, their religion’) as they used to say in the 16th century.
Except that these days, voters aren’t so keen on being treated like a bunch of peasants. In the wake of Brexit, the Labour Party tried to pull that trick in their heartlands and it didn’t end well for them.
Third, wokeness doesn’t even begin to match Christianity’s intellectual depth. White Fragility by Robin DiAngelo? It’s not exactly Saint Augustine’s City of God, is it?
No doubt that’s an unfair comparison, but if you put the intellectual heavyweights of the contemporary Left up against the best people from the other major schools of political thought — liberalism, conservatism, even classical Marxism — there’s no doubt as to who’d win the wooden spoon.
The jargon and buzzwords of wokery are easily grasped, a rhetorical framework that just about anyone can assemble and deploy on Twitter. But with so little substance behind each component, they quickly become worn out. Already, terms like “safe space” and “trigger warning” are beginning to sound very last decade. The biggest threat to wokeness isn’t whiteness or the patriarchy, but fashion.
Fourth, wokeness is viral in the proper sense of the word — i.e. it doesn’t do much except reproduce itself (and even then parasitically, by subverting pre-existing institutions). The demands of the movement centre upon changes to language, symbols and patterns of thought. Beyond that, real world policies such as “defund the police” are so wildly impractical as to have rhetorical relevance only.
Clearly, wokeness appeals to people with legitimate complaints against the status quo — especially younger people. But in focusing on extremely generalised theories of injustice rather than specific, fixable failures in the system, the contemporary Left is singularly useless as an agent of practical change.
Finally, the ruling establishment doesn’t have to keep stitching up the younger generation. There is no need for a radical new ideology to fix problems like student debt, unpaid internships, the housing crisis and all the other ways in which Millennials and Post-Millennials have been let down by their elders.
Indeed, the more that the elites adopt woke ideology to distract attention from these failures, the sooner that the young will realise they’ve been had — and the sooner they’ll move on to the next protest movement.
The Democrat Party of the USA is underpinned by the Common Features of Fascism, expounded upon by Umberto Eco (The 14 Principles of Fascism).
1. The cult of tradition. Leaders in the Democrat make the claim for authentication from recent historic civil rights laws and leaders. For example, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and the Wade vs Roe abortion laws.
2. The rejection of modernism. Science is easily ignored and irrationalism is embraced. This is evident when physical reality and biological science is overturned in favour of personal, emotional truths. For example, claiming that there are more than 52 genders instead of only two – male and female.
3. The cult of action for action’s sake. Reaction and perpetual revolution is the sign of a neo-Marxist solution. Thinking is seen as a form of emasculation and when confronted by their their thoughtless deeds, Democrats are unable to refute their critics.
4. Disagreement is treason. As is evident with the banality of cancel culture and the demonization of conservatives.
5. Fear of difference. Any political, religious or ideological difference will not be tolerated.
6. Appeal to social frustration. According to intersectional theory, the greater the perception of oppression of a group, the greater their inherent power for social change.
7. The obsession with a plot. Such obsession includes Trump’s Russian collusion (proven to be a hoax) and the January 6 insurrection plot (with no evidence).
8. The enemy is both strong and weak. Ultra MAGA and conservatives are seen as an existential threat to the nation and yet often down graded as feeble minded and a minority.
9. Pacifism is trafficking with the enemy. Any person who denies the neo-Marxist woke agenda is open game for attack. Recently a 61 year old grandmother was arrested for attending the rally on January 6. Bakers have been persistently persecuted for refusing to a make a cake for a gay wedding on religious grounds.
10. Contempt for the weak. The elite use the popularity of the poor and yet despise the poor at the same time. They find it hard to accept that most people do not have the wealth to embrace climate ideology and purchase expensive electric cars or install solar panels.
11. Everybody is educated to become a hero. One is now a brave hero by standing up for gender, race and woke ideologies. Nothing needs to be accomplished, one just needs to show one’s support.
12. Selective populism. Social media influencers and celebrities represent a select minority and yet are envisioned to be the voice of the people.
13. Newspeak. Vocabulary is impoverished and limited in “order to limit the instruments for complex and critical reasoning.” The sterilisation of language to make it politically correct and the use of woke pronouns is a sign of newspeak.
All thirteen signs are evident within the Democrat party, implying that they are fascists as well as socialists. One principle that is not shown is machismo – that is because they adore everything sexually perverse and abhor traditional gender roles. They display an inherent hatred of women, though, whenever they place women’s rights as less important than that of an intersectionally oppressed group.
The World Economic Forum Great Reset is underpinned by a Green, neo-Marxist authoritarianism that is fundamentally anti-human. The sweeping changes will drastically affect billions across the planet, all because the agenda requires drastic change by “pulling the plug” swiftly without consideration of adapting to the changes successfully.
For example, the western world is under increasing pressure to reduce and remove fossil fuels from energy production so that renewable energy can be used in its place. However, as can be seen in Texas’s severe winter blackouts, renewable energy is unreliable and is unable to produce the baseline energy to meet the high energy demand of society.
The Sri Lankan ex-President was lauded as a shining example of net zero green ideology by adopting organic farming and reduced fossil fuel use. The Green Dream soon became a nightmare for Sri Lanka – farms were unable to use synthetic fertilisers to secure food production. Rice production fell by 20% in 6 months and their tea market collapsed. Food shortages, riots, escalating foreign debt and the overturning of the incumbent government was the result. China is now hoping to exploit Sri Lanka’s debt problem with unforseen consequences.
Dutch farmers, also many other European farmers, are protesting the proposed legislation to implement climate change policies. Up to 95% of the nitrogen content in the Netherlands is required to be reduced. This will drastically reduce food production and farmers will be unable to pay the overhead costs of food production. Farmers, transport companies and manufacturers will start to fail, leaving more people unemployed and more empty shelves in the supermarket.
In Australia, the new Labor Government, underpinned by growing Green ideology, are reacting to the latest environmental report and hope to lock up and expand “Australia’s national estate to protect 30% of land and 30% of oceans by 2030”. This reduces available farming land, compresses populations within dense regions without limitations on immigration or population controls. The Green movement realises that millions of livestock will need to be culled by 2035. For example, 5 million chickens, 500 000 sheep and 700 000 cattle within Ireland and the UK will need to be reduced to meet emission targets. The animal activists do not wish to see these animals culled, yet the climate change activists are willing to sacrifice these animals to meet the agenda targets. As a consequence, food production will diminish. The World Bank estimated that 828 million people suffered from starvation in 2021, 46 million more than the previous year. Future estimates indicate further increases in world food shortage and starvation, aided by an anti-human Green ideology.
The Spirit of Resentment, Arrogance and Deceit forms the basis of post modernism. This spirit seeks to destroy individuality and logic. By doing so, individual arguments are unimportant compared to group identity politics. This spirit seeks to dismantle society and religious belief to foster a new tyranny.
After much reflection and philosophical thought, self-directed dialectical discussion and associated analytical research, the following conclusion has been attained, and is self-evident in what has taken place.
First, that the Left (as the evidence continues to inform) gives the appearance of being selfless, equanimous and good while simultaneously sacrificing individual self-respect and responsibility.
As the evidence of behaviours informs the Left is a broad church (pun intended) that festers corruption and a multitude of evils. The most recent being the investigated and discovered sixty plus million dollar corruption of the BLM. And the presented evidence of Hillarygate, and the ongoing investigation and what is being found pertaining to Hunter Biden.
The Left continually proclaims a form of individualism whilst using violent and government based authoritarian methods to silence opposing views and cultures.
The Left demands, yes it demands, to be respected whilst refusing to give respect.
The Left both overtly and covertly lies and deceives without any thought of integrity or the truth.
The Left is responsible for over a hundred million deaths in over 100 years. It was the birthplace of communism and the national socialist party (Nazism). In comparison, the Spanish Inquisition resulted in 32 thousand deaths over two hundred years.
The results of Leftist ideology speak for itself – constant revolution and destruction.
Second, the Right, though not perfect, tolerates open discussion (there is no cancel culture within the Right).
The Right encourages traditional values and enforces a justice system that holds individuals as accountable.
Morality, respect for previous generations and history is encouraged, instead of constant revisionism and protestation and outright deceit.
The fact is that in terms of respect and integrity; respect and integrity is earned through merit, not because of an intersectional identity badge, which has now become one of the major badges the Left now wears on its bloated chest of ineptitudes.
The Left continually now espouses and shouts out the words of white privilege. The fact of the matter is that there is no such thing. However, to discuss that point of view with a Marxist is totally and absolutely a waste of time. There would be more value in talking to a Scientologist.
Then there is history, which has been recorded by all cultures, both orally and in written form. However, the Left ignores history and is trying to rewrite history in its own deluded, dystopian and evil image.
To ignore history and the judgements of humanity over the past two, five, ten and even one hundred thousand years is to drown in a dark abyss of constant revolution. The fact of the matter as recent history informs the Left is far from the light and the truth that it tries to present. It is nothing but a vile and nihilistic evil the likes of which surpasses the evils of the past, because it is being done with the knowledge of what has taken place in the past. And the greatest evil the humanity has ever seen is where children are now being systematically abused in every vile manner conceivable with the worst being that Leftist are now targeting children, from the day they are born and the Left is telling the parents of the children, and the children themselves, as soon as they can talk that they are not the sex with which they were born. This vile, evil pursuit of children by the Left is sick beyond comprehension.
My hope, in all of the evil that is taking place by and through the actions of the Left, that society evolves from the blood-soaked, primordial depths of the Leftist ideology and enter into the light of western, Christian civilization, justice and cultural advancement; which was the society that I once knew.
Romans 1:18-21 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
The leftists are authoritarian fascists and simpletons who care only to deny facts, regulate thoughts, control words and restrict actions that do not meet with their dystopian cultist thinking.
There is no dialogue or empathy in the left; they only wish to impose a brand of socialism or communism that will never work, as can be seen by the over 100 million deaths through socialism in the 20th century. However, the actions of these leftists clearly and unequivocally demonstrate that the cultist leftist have no idea about history, they do not care about history, in fact they are blind to what even history means.
The facts of history speak for themselves. The socialist/communists, or communist/socialists (it makes no difference), have killed more than anyone else: The crusades killed 1 to 3 million people and the inquisition is believed to have killed between 30 000 to 300 000 people – 96 million people short of the communist death count.
The cultist socialists never mention the fact that currently 340 million Christians are being persecuted by other nations and ethnicities.
Clearly, and unambiguously the writer of this article is ignorant. Is the writer so blind that he/she/they/them (or whatever other nonsense they/he/she/them want to be known by now) is actually so stupid that the writer actually wants to have his/her/him/they (or whatever) rights removed, or does he/she/they/them want to join ethnic minorities in looting, taking and murdering people on the street?
Just like Biden, the writer of this simplistic article will be one of the useful idiots cancelled once the US embraces fully rigged elections by allowing anyone to vote, regardless of nationality or the number times they voted – either living or dead.
And speaking about voting, it has now been discovered that the oh so self-righteous Hillary Clinton has been found to have actually interfered in the previous elections, by engaging in what can only be referred to as treason in collusion with the tech giants. And guess what? Not one word from any of the leftist media.
This writer and the left are not only hypocrites, they are liars, and that word liar does not in any way describe how devious these leftists actually are. They are a disgrace to the entire human race.
Changing words from the article actually evokes a clearer truth:
Biden’s USA has been embraced globally by woke and radical figureheads (anyone perverted enough to work at CNN) because it’s a contemporary model for how that might work), and Democrats in the U.S. can use Biden’s denials — that his purges of white conservatives aren’t racist, that his victories in rigged elections are actually authentic and democratic and that his mode of hypocrisy is about freedom of the elite, even as he persecutes anyone who doesn’t practice a narrow reactionary and woke version of it.
No other nation in the world is destroying election integrity and endorsing systematic racism against whites like the US. The utter hypocrisy and blindness to the truth is astounding. The woke leftists have called evil good and traditional good evil. Astonishing national disaster and fatal collapse is bound to occur if they continue down this racist, narcissistic, truth hating path. There is no utopia for the left, just degradation, corruption and hopelessness.
This article also reminds me of a piece written by USSR Journalist Yuri Bezmeno. In my lead in to this insightful article by Bezmeno, I will note and begin with the following:
The mainstream media of the West, but especially in the US, has become a relativist censoring media, it now presents self-righteous censorship of objective news, and its reporting presents what can now be described as sycophantic silences to actual objective events that need objective reporting. Or it presents, like this article by Elizabeth Spiers, an orchestration of words that can only be described as having less substance than dried vomit.
The fact of the matter, as I have already noted, history has informed us for many millennia, civilisations have died as a result of their own self-deluded self-righteousness, superior minded hypocrisy and self-inflicted lies.
History also points out that when a civilisation is succumbing to its own death throes (which in this case self-evidently is America); what we see now is that the external enemies (and supporting internal enemies) of America have already planned and are gleefully anticipating, with much elated enthusiasm, as they secretly sneer, snigger, chuckle, chortle and laugh, as they excitedly wait for the order, from their leader, to march in and crush this now deluded woke cult called America.
As such, to understand the fate of the former United States of America, which is now also being referred to as the Dis-United Appalling-States of America, the writer of this article should take note – which of course the writer self-evidently won’t – of the profound sociopolitical insights of a former USSR Journalist Yuri Bezmenov, who presents what will happen to the writer and what was once the united states (note the use of lowercase letters) of america?
What will happen (and to some significant degree it is already happening with all of the lawlessness that is taking place) is that and writer of this absurd little self-righteous article, and all of the other mainstream delusional leftists will be the following, as noted by USSR Journalist Yuri Bezmenov:
[T]he useful idiots, the leftists who are idealistically believing in the beauty of the Soviet socialist or Communist or whatever system, when they get disillusioned, they become the worst enemies. That’s why my KGB instructors specifically made the point: never bother with leftists. Forget about these political prostitutes. Aim higher. They serve a purpose only at the stage of destabilization of a nation. For example, your leftists in the United States: all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders. They are instrumental in the process of the subversion only to destabilize a nation. When their job is completed, they are not needed any more. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned, when they see that Marxist-Leninists come to power – obviously they get offended – they think that they will come to power. That will never happen, of course. They will be lined up against the wall and shot.
The Lord forbid that this should ever happen. And yet the radical left cannot see the consequences of their choices, and our choices shape our destiny.
In general terms, the Woke social justice movement shares common values with traditional Christianity. The values of equality, respect, caring for those in need, justice and sharing things for the common good are admirable qualities of woke-ism. Within Christianity, this is seen in:
Acts 2:44–47 (NKJV): Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. 46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
Acts 4:32–35 (NKJV): 32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. 33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. 34 Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, 35 and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.
Differences are obvious within the daily application of such shared values. A great disparity exists between Christianity and Woke-ism with the issue of immediacy of justice. The Woke incessantly demand change and that all of their desires to be met, regardless of morality, laws and existing traditions. Christians are always asked to consider the actions of God while seeking justice.
Romans 12:17–21 (NKJV): Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
In contrast, Woke culture wishes to attain immediate results, even if it is through the pursuit of violent riots, protests and looting. This immediacy and need for conflict to force change has generated a “cancel culture”. The self-justified woke adherents seek to cancel an entire person’s status, employment and social media reputation from the entire planet. One may liken this to a virtual act of bloodless execution against a person that they hate. Cancel culture is an expression of hate, and it is only a slight margin of difference between cancelling a person’s status from cancelling the entire person from the entire Earth (i.e. murder).
Christians live and work in the Lord with the trust that, at the end of days, Christ will return and reign over His gloriously peaceful Kingdom:
Isaiah 11:6–9 (NKJV): The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.
Christians are required to submit to the authority of Christ as well as the laws of the land:
Romans 13:1–7 (NKJV): Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
In recent years, ‘mostly peaceful protests’ have turned into murderous, violent, fiery protests. Insurrections and destructive protests, regardless of political affiliation, are against people, property, laws of the state and against the will of the Lord. The states and countries who fail to maintain civil peace through law and order are negligent and have failed their citizens. As Paul states, love is the fulfillment of God’s will.
Romans 13:8–10 (NKJV): Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Woke culture endorses the world view that one race is greater or less than another, which logically concludes with the need for reparations and limitation of status and opportunities for ‘privileged’ races or groups. Certainly, if there is evident unfairness or inequality, then this should be resolved and monitored to ensure that all races and all groups have equal rights, freedoms and access to justice. The glaring problem with woke-ism is that it justifies the degradation of other groups and races. This ignores the fallen nature of humanity and the hypocrisy of such an act.
All are sinners: Romans 5:12 (NKJV): Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned…
Hypocrisy: Matthew 7:1–5 (NKJV): Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
Woke-ism is a false religion antithetical to the love of God. By resembling closely the values of equality, respect, justice and sharing the common good, Woke-ism is a trojan horse or a fifth column full of hate, racism and lawlessness. This is anathema to the love of God.
Jesus, the Son of God, is the pinnacle of love and sacrifice by redeeming sinful humanity through his redemptive work on the cross. Jesus redeems all who believe upon Him regardless of their age, race or gender. Woke culture, on the other hand, is envious and demands that other people make a sacrifice for its cause. The only love displayed by the woke is self-love before the idol of humanism.
Jesus asks us to forgive those who harm us and to model Christlike behaviour so that, we, as brothers and sisters in Christ, may be part of His eternal family.
Luke 6:27–36 (NKJV): “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. 29 To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. 31 And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. 32 “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. 35 But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. 36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
Woke culture is unforgiving and will unnecessarily find evidence of the most minor social sin or mistake endlessly. They will ignore apologies and insist on the harshest penalties for the person who has offended them. This is in stark contrast to Christ, who commands us to forgive others so as to be forgiven.
Matthew 6:14–15 (NKJV): “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
We live in dangerous times when radical humanism, through critical race theory, has blinded the population to instigate a false utopia on Earth. Like all godless utopias, this too is destined to fail. We are in the end times and Satan has developed a counterfeit image of God’s Kingdom, a kingdom that is selfish, merciless, unforgiving and self-righteous. The citizens of this counterfeit kingdom choose to force others to do as they do, and believe as they believe. Woke-ism and Cancel Culture are signs of a rising anti-christian religion. True Christians will never deny the Lord, who is the only Hope, Light and Truth in this fallen world. Upon the appearance of the Anti-Christ, Christians will be persecuted because they will never relinquish their love and faith in Christ.
2 Timothy 3:1–7 (NKJV): But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Woke-ism embraces victim-hood. An adherent of this cult is quick to absolve themselves from responsibility and guilt in order to project it upon other people and races. Instead, God will judge our own thoughts, words and deeds – regardless of social status, gender, race or age.
Psalm 7:8 (NKJV): The Lord shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.
Most Christian Churches have been infected by the cancerous humanism of woke-ism. Be wary of anyone who preaches division of race, reparations for historic injustice, and is also unforgiving and condemns people or groups for opposing woke-ism. These are false prophets who are sowing division, instead of uniting the Body of Christ. The Anti-Christ spirit will show in those who protest for peace while inciting violence, looting and killing. The evil spirit also thrives in those who encourage guilt and unforgiveness when Christ has plainly commanded mercy and forgiveness to the least one of us. They preach the necessity of giving when they sacrifice nothing and gain much; they speak lies and hide the truth; they tolerate much evil, yet cannot tolerate biblical truth. These preachers are the blind, leading the lost, into a pit of everlasting flames.
Matthew 7:15–20 (NKJV): “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
Having been a regular viewer of PBS NewsHour for many years now, it is time to inform PBS NewsHour I will no longer view the programme. That is because news is about and only about ethics, integrity, robust questioning, authenticity and presenting objective reality.
However, when news and reporting become nothing more than a presentation of self-serving sycophantic ideology, and highly embarrassing groveling and propaganda (which would make any totalitarian regime proud); there is no point in viewing this type of news. That is because this ‘type of news’ is no longer news. It is what a healthy genuine democracy (referring to a totalitarian regime) would describe this sort of journalistic toadying as being nothing more than an ‘obsequious upholding of the ideological propaganda political party line of the totalitarian regime.’
Added to this, is the fact that if any objective critical questioning and analysis is presented to this form of self-serving sycophantic and ideological groveling; what happens is that this robust and objective questioning is immediately met with a declaration of immense and severe outrage by these news organisations in question.
Blame and criticism of others (who are not members of the sycophantic self-serving party line’ collective) is what is taking place in America now. The mainstream American media now is one which, rather than being ethical, objective and self-reflective. And having the intellectual capacity, and moral scholarly insight, to deeply, honestly, factually, authentically and intellectually examine (at the highest cognitive and analytical level), circumstances as to what is actually taking place, and to then reporting objectively. What the American mainstream media is doing instead, as noted is blaming, criticising and viciously attacking those reporters and news commentators who have the integrity to ask important objective questions.
This is taking place despite of the sociological, journalism and organisational research universally and irrefutably informs how important integrity, openness, transparency and accountability is for a healthy organisation (especially a news organisation) to not only successfully operate and exist but to also know and understand that personal morality and organisational ethical, open, transparent and accountable process is what advances the profound and important cognitive and intellectual skills and capabilities of critical thinking and associated high-order erudite thinking and writing. Profoundly and axiomatically, it is all of these skills, knowledge and capabilities that then combine to help develop and advance a highly complex, social, ethical and politically sophisticated news organisation and a healthy universally understood and axiomatically democratic society as well.
To this effect one only needs to read the American Declaration of Independence to see this in action. In preparation for the writing of the Declaration of Independence, the American Congress, in June of 1776, appointed a committee of five men. They were: Thomas Jefferson, Robert R. Livingston, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman and John Adams to write the Declaration of Independence. Even though no Minutes were kept, what is immutably certain is that the committee engaged in robust discussion, which included the general outline of what should be considered, written and presented in this Declaration document.
The Committee eventually decided that Thomas Jefferson would be the person who would write the first draft. It is profoundly important to note that in terms of robust discussion, that neither the 1776 Declaration of Independence, nor the writing and signing of the 1787 American Constitution, would ever have taken place, if the current 2021 self-serving unhealthy political climate and the associated obsequious nature and reporting in the mainstream news organisations, had been in place at that time of the founding of America’s democracy. As a result of this academic and highly sophisticated intellectual thinking by the Founding Fathers, America was at one time at the forefront of the world in terms of research, writing, journalism, objective reporting and media commentary, book publishing, manufacturing and so much more. However, and tragically, this is no longer the case for America.
In less than 240 years the nation of America is in what could only be described as being in catastrophic decline. Along with this decline, which includes the military, manufacturing, research, objective education principles and practices, and the American media itself. All of this has become a self-evident joke which the world can see. However, this self-inflicted joke is one which America refuses to see and acknowledge. Here is but one example: When riots, looting and arson were taking place throughout America, these riots, the looting and the arson were being reported in newspapers and presented on mainstream American media as being peaceful riots, arson and looting. All of this could best be described (in the current non-banned book by Hans Christian Andersen) titled: “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”
However, and importantly, as noted there are those in the World who see and know what the truth is. All of these empirical knowers are sniggering and openly laughing at America in relation to what is taking place. The external enemies of America are especially delighted and are gleefully, with immense joy, loudly laughing at how America is self-destructing in its own hypocrisy, and drowning itself in its self-made quagmire of subjective feelings-based nonsense of postmodern relativism.
America’s current self-evident ideologically Socialist political system, and with the support of its embarrassing fawning mainstream media would (to pursue its ideological goals), rather see itself socially implode (which is not taking place), than to engage in the pursuit of universal objective truths that matter, and which objectively advances a nation.
America has in its anthem the words “the land of the free, and the home of the brave.” However (which all the world knows and can see for itself) America is now, self-evidently, not the land of the free but is the land that is ruled by fear. It is no longer the home of the brave, but the home of the afraid; and those who are also constantly cowering and obsequiously apologising.
If America was the land of the free and the home of the brave, the brave would have freely, and many times by now, announced that the emperor has no clothes. And the reason this has not, and is not taking place, is because of fear.
The existential American reality is that “the land of the free, and the home of the brave” no longer exists. What American has become instead, as noted, is the land that is now ruled by fear; and it is the home of where everyone is afraid. And this decline into the never ending apologising abyss of self-destruction, is all of its own making.
“Hey mum, hey dad, look, there is a wonderful peaceful riot, with looting, book burning and firebombing of buildings taking place.” “Yes, isn’t that simply wonderful. We certainly don’t have to grovel and apologise for any of these types of peaceful riots. That is because all of these peaceful riots, peaceful book burnings and peaceful fire bombings is why we can now all proudly call this type of peaceful rioting action as being true American patriotism, and true American freedom of expression at its very best.”
“Hey mum, hey dad, the police have been peacefully attacked, and the police station has been firebombed, burned and destroyed.” “We don’t use the word attacked anymore. Attacked is a dreadful prejudiced word that has been rightly cancelled. You won’t understand how important this type of peaceful firebombing patriotism of police stations actually is; until you are at least fifteen. This is all about what we Americans call peaceful patriotic spiritual American freedom, with the inalienable Constitutional freedom and America’s Democratic right to oppress the people, for the people, and by the people.”
“Hey mum, hey dad, look, there’s the President. He’s walking onto Air Force One. and look, he’s not wearing any clothes.” “Quiet, of course he is. If he wasn’t wearing any clothes the media would have told us so. We’re not stupid, and neither is our Democratic media. That is why we always only watch the Democratic inspired American media of authentic elected Democratic truth.
“It is our true Democratic American media that will always tell us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Which is the only truth we really need to hear. And as you now firmly know, we are making sure that you will have this exact same and immovable and important self-righteous patriotic love and understanding of this our now and all-important spiritual sycophantic American freedom of expression that we now all truly and proudly have.”
“What does sycophantic mean?” “It means that we are always right, and you are always right and that you will always agree with us and support this new and wonderful Democratic fawning American patriotism.” “You mean fawning is like a baby deer.” “Yes, fawning is like a baby deer.” “Great, I love fawning. Thanks mum, thanks, dad, I will always agree with you and I already love this new fawning Democratic American patriotism. You’re the best. I love you both. Just like I love our new sycophantic Democratic America.”
